Welcome to Midlands Waste Solutions. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or subscribing to any service.

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Midlands Waste Solutions (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
They apply to all customers purchasing, booking, or using our waste removal, bin cleaning, and surface cleaning services.
By using our website or confirming a booking, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Our Services
We provide:

Bin cleaning and collection services

Waste removal and clearance services
-
Pressure washing and surface cleaning services
Full service details, pricing, and policies are available on our website.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw services at any time.

3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure smooth service, customers must:

Provide accurate contact and address information

Ensure bins or waste are accessible on the agreed day

Securely bag all general waste (no loose or hazardous materials)

Inform us of any access restrictions or changes in service needs
If access is blocked, or waste exceeds the weight limit, the collection may be postponed, and additional fees may apply.

4. Payments

All services are billed in GBP (£).

Subscription payments are billed monthly in advance via card or direct debit.

One-off clearances or cleanings are payable upon booking or completion.

Payments renew automatically unless cancelled.

We reserve the right to suspend service for late or failed payments.

Invoices and receipts are provided electronically.

5. Bin Subscription Service Terms
a. Service Scope:
This service covers general household waste collection only — no recycling, hazardous, or construction waste is accepted.

b. Plans & Weight Limits:
-
Basic Plan (£69.99/month): Weekly bin collection (4 visits per month), includes cleaning & deodorising. Up to 50 kg of waste per collection.

Pro Plan (£89.99/month): Weekly bin collection (4 visits per month), includes cleaning & deodorising. Up to 100 kg of waste per collection, plus priority scheduling.
c. Waste Preparation:
All waste must be placed in standard black bin bags — loose or unbagged waste will not be collected.
d. Cardboard:
Small amounts of cardboard (e.g., packaging) may be placed in the general waste bin. Large quantities must be booked separately through our On-Demand Waste Collection service.
e. Access:
Bins must be accessible at the agreed collection time. If access is blocked, it counts as a completed collection and no refund will be issued.
f. Bin Deposit:
A £100 refundable bin deposit is required for all new customers.

This deposit covers the use of a fresh Midlands Waste Solutions bin provided at the start of service.

It is paid separately via bank transfer or card reader before the first collection.

The deposit is refunded in full when the bin is collected back in good condition and the account is settled.
g. Cancellations:
Customers must give a minimum of 30 days’ notice to cancel. If cancellation occurs after billing, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid month. No refunds for part-used months.
h. Missed Collections:
If Midlands Waste Solutions fails to collect due to our error, we will reschedule. If missed due to customer error (e.g., blocked access), no refund will be issued.

One-off services cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date may incur a cancellation charge.

6. On-Demand Waste Collection Terms
a. Service Scope:
This service covers other types of waste such as rubble, hardcore, plastics, cardboard (large quantities), wood, and bulky items.

b. Exclusions:
Hazardous waste (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, oils, sharps) will not be collected.
c. Quotation:
Each job is quoted individually based on type and volume of waste.
d. Payment:
A deposit may be required to secure the booking. The balance is due upon completion of the service.
e. Access:
Waste must be accessible at the agreed collection time. If access is blocked, additional charges may apply.
f. Liability:
Midlands Waste Solutions is not liable for damage caused by unsafe or improperly prepared waste provided by customers.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.

No refunds for part months or missed collections caused by customer inaccessibility.

One-off services cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date may incur a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

8. Liability
While we take all reasonable care, Midlands Waste Solutions is not liable for:

Damage to bins caused by pre-existing wear or defects

Missed collections due to inaccessibility or unsafe conditions

Losses resulting from delays beyond our control (e.g., severe weather or road closures)
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Waste Restrictions
We cannot collect or dispose of:

Hazardous materials (paint, oil, chemicals, asbestos, sharps, etc.)

Electricals or appliances (unless agreed)
-
Garden waste, rubble, or building debris unless part of a booked clearance
Failure to comply may result in refusal of service or additional disposal charges.
10. Data Protection
We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available via the website footer.
We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, logos, and images — is owned by Midlands Waste Solutions and protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, copy, or reuse content without written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with UK law.
Any disputes shall be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
